Description
In this episode, host Lina Forrestal chats with Erika Garcia, who is an entrepreneur and 7 months pregnant on not trying to be "super mom" and managing her post partum expectations.Erika dropped out of college in her junior year to pursue her dreams of becoming an entrepreneur. She started "The Etime Blog & Company" who's flagship product is the Supernatural Body Butter. At the beginning of her pregnancy, if you had told Erika she'd come to the decision of taking a step back from her company, she wouldn’t believe you. She was so invested in the logistics and operations and growing her company. Everything changed during her 9 week prenatal appointment where she and her husband heard their son's heartbeat. In that moment, she could only see her baby and wanted to be the healthiest version of herself for him. The drive she had for her business was redirected towards her son and everything else just naturally began to come second. Erika thoughtfully decided that she had no interest in being an overextended version of myself feels like she owes it to her son to give him the best version of herself.
