Last week we discussed the first half of The Fellowship of the Ring, so naturally today's episode will be focusing on the second half .Because Tolkien originally intended for this trilogy to be broken up into six parts (or books), we will be discussing the series in that manner with two episodes per novel. So, in this episode, we will be talking about Book 2, 'The Ring Goes South'; or, alternatively, from the chapter entitled 'Flies and Spiders' to the end of the novel.(TL;DR: We're only going to be talking about the second half of The Fellowship of the Ring, ok?
