Welcome to SCREAM DREAMS - The Nightmares That Shaped Us! This is the show that delves into our most vivid dreams and nightmares, and how they affect our lives and work.

Show hosts are Catherine Corcoran (Terrifier, Return to Nuke 'Em High), James A Janisse (Kill Count, Dead Meat Podcast) and Barbara Crampton (Re-Animator, Suitable Flesh).

Heather Langenkamp has some strong, surprising views on horror films that you won’t want to miss.

Heather reveals a nightmare about Freddy’s tongue, and talks about how sexual content in horror scenes can affect the participants subconsciously. Catherine concurs about hyper sexualised roles and how you don’t realise what you carry with you. Heather finds watching horror movies very hard, and speculates that some taboos in horror films can actually break the bonds that hold society together. She asks how James can process having to watch so many horror films.

We find out why Heather can never take a relaxing bath, and how focusing on small things such as helps her block out the horrors of the real world. And we touch on Heather’s upcoming movies, including Mike Flanagan’s Stephen King adaptation, The Life of Chuck.

For this week’s Side Barb, Barbara is conjured by a very special song, and we play a game where Heather has to escape a nightmare of the hosts’ imagining.

We really welcome your Feedback - please let us know what you think of the show so far in the comments, suggest any fun nightmare games we might play, as well as future guests you’d like to see on the show! Scream Dreams links: linktr.ee/screamdreams
