Arabian poet, Antonio Banderas, fools around with the caliph's wife and gets promoted to lord of the dessert. During his trek, he runs afoul of a Viking camp where Granny Van Daam dubs him the 13th warrior of a quest that will lead to certain death. Now he must band together with a rough-and-tumble group of lovable bearded bad-asses to defend a village from a (seemingly) unstoppable supernatural force.
