Description
This was a special, special weekend in Mets land. The team celebrated their first Old Timers Day since 1994 and the scene was spectacular. Mets from 1962 to 2015 came together for an unbelievable event and we take you through the whole thing from brunch to the red carpet to batting practice and through the game itself. We have some tid bits about Mike Piazza, Billy Wagner, José Reyes, Terry Collins and much much more. Such a genuinely incredible experience that culminated with the (surprise) retiring of Willie Mays' number! It was easy to forget that there were four actual baseball games that took place this weekend at Citi Field and of course we got deep into those as well. Mark Canha, Pete Alonso, Brandon Nimmo, Max Scherzer, David Peterson, Jacob deGrom, and Seth Lugo all starred and we tell you how. We close with a preview of the BIG Dodgers series this week, get pumped.
