Joe & Joe Weather Show  Friday November 5,  2021   Tonight our special guest is Lonnie Quinn from WCBS TV Weather as he will be joining Joe Rao on a trip to Antarctica in December. There they will see a total eclipse of the sun.  Dry weather continues in the Northeast and Northern Mid Atlantic states this weekend. A storm developing off the Southeast US Coast will bring heavy rain to the immediate coast with coastal flooding. Rain and thunderstorms in Florida this evening and tonight will be accompanied by possible severe thunderstorms in the southern half of the state and coastal flooding along the coast of Northeast Florida. High wind, gale and storm warnings are in effect. Meanwhile, heavy snow is expected over the mountains of the Pacific Northwest this weekend. Persistent troughing in the Northwest will lead to low elevation and coastal rain showers as well as scattered to isolated thunderstorms in the Pacific Northwest, while heavy snowfall blankets the Olympic and Cascade mountains through Sunday. Generally 1-2 feet of snow is likely with isolated amounts exceeding 3 feet
