Weather in 5 sees warmer weather in the the Northeast the next several days. Rain is covering areas of Virginia and the Carolinas today. Rain also back into the Pacific Northwest. The tropics are quiet for the time being but could rev up again during the first week of October. No major weather issues over the weekend. Showers ahead of a strong cold front will move into the Eastern US later Monday and especially Tuesday.
