James is a Seattle-based programmer and author of "Psychedelic Information Theory: Shamanism in the Age of Reason".  He is also the former publisher of Psychedelic Illuminations and Trip Magazine, and the creator of the DoseNation blog and podcast. James Kent's work includes a close examination of perception and hallucination, skeptical debunking of common psychedelic myths, and research into common mental health issues related to psychedelic use.
