Dr. Moore has been a senior teacher in the Shambhala community for the past 40 years and is the co-founder of Karuna Training, a certification in Contemplative Psychology offered since 1996 in eight countries. In addition to her Buddhist teaching, Melissa has held many positions in the field of mental health, most recently as the founding director of the Felton Institute in San Francisico. This podcast will focus on her wonderful book The Diamonds Within Us: Uncovering Brilliant Sanity Through Contemplative Psychology (2021), which serves as a textbook for Karuna Training.
