The last few weeks we've talked about healthy habits. Mostly practical tips to help with prioritizing time and clearing your mind so you can focus on what God has called you to! Today these 3 things are MUST DO's for your daily walk with the Lord. These three things will help with your growth and relationship with God!We have to start with thinking about being clean from the inside out. In Matthew 23:25- Jesus is scolding the Pharisees about only being clean on the outside and not the inside. He uses the example of cleaning the outside of a cup and not the inside. I know what this is like having boys doing the dishes sometimes lol I go to reach for a cup in the cupboard and find it clean on the outside but disgusting on the inside! And let me tell you that isn't fun! lolIt's the same for our hearts. We need to let Jesus come in and clean our hearts so that what comes out is good fruit! The best way to have good things coming out of our hearts is to stay connected to our heavenly Father!!We stay connected by doing these three things!1) Daily prayer/bible reading2)Daily worship and engaging during worship at church3)Daily BIBLICAL affirmations
