After a couple of months, however, we began to notice a few things that were less than ideal for us. Last-minute cancellations, double booking, a general sense of confusion each time we showed up, among other things. “We should probably find a new place”, I said to my husband after a particularly exasperating experience. He agreed. But neither of us pulled the trigger. Weeks went by. More of the same. We were settling for good enough. Because of the effort we assumed it would take to find something better. With a quick mindset adjustment, we took action and made the necessary changes. In reflecting on this, I was reminded of how powerful inertia can be. For good and bad.
