The story was used as part of a Christmas episode of The Twilight Zone in 1985, as TV adaptations go there were changes to the original story. In this case the most noticeable change was the ending was different.The Star appeared in the very first issue of Infinity Science Fiction Magazine in November 1955 and the story is mentioned on the cover.
