    I've tried to keep the language simplified, but have detailed the forecast variables and complexities in ways seldom seen or heard on tv weathercasts. Bottom line: lake effect forecasting is even more challenging than you may have thought, but better tools are helping meteorologists to make better lake effect forecasts.
