In this edition of Locked on Capitals Dan talks about the Capitals and their latest victory. Tonight, it was against the Buffalo Sabres. The Caps were down two different time and had to fight their way to victory. With a 4-3 overtime win tonight vs. Buffalo, the Capitals have won five-straight games, have earned at least one point in seven-straight games (6-0-1) and are 9-1-1 in their last 11 games. . TJ Oshie scores his first goal of the season to tie the game 2-2. With the goal, Oshie ties Dale Hunter and Michal Pivonka (181) for the 11th-most goals in franchise history. Tom Wilson scores his fourth goal of the season to tie the game 3-3 with 1:15 remaining in the third period. Wilson has recorded five points (4g, 1a) in his last five games against Buffalo dating back to the 2021-22 season. Dylan Strome scores his team-leading eighth goal of the season with 3.6 remaining in overtime to give the Capitals a 4-3 win. It marks Strome's first career overtime goal and his 12th career game-winning goal. Later Dan talks about how the PP continues to struggle.
