Description

Steve Stoliar is a TV writer and voice actor, and is the author of Raised Eyebrows, which chronicled his time working inside Groucho Marx's house from 1974 to 1977. Steve joined Tony Mazur on the Check Your Brain podcast to talk about his career after Groucho, which saw him working with Dick Cavett and writing for Simon & Simon and The New WKRP in Cincinnati.

Steve also worked with Bill Melendez on a few Peanuts specials in the 1990s. On the topic of Groucho, Steve also discussed his feelings on Frank Ferrante's and Gabe Kaplan's portrayals of the comedic icon, his thoughts on Minnie's Boys, and the urban legends surrounding his house guests. Raised Eyebrows can be found on Amazon, but one can obtain a signed copy at SteveStoliar.com.

A previous radio interview where Steve and Tony talk about the book, Erin Fleming, and favorite Marx Brothers movies can be found on Apple Podcasts, or wherever you listen.
