Description
Happy Thanksgiving week! Are you putting up your tree this week and getting a jump on Christmas decorations? Or are you a Thanksgiving loyalist who refuses to address the Christmas chaos until after the bird is consumed? I’m a little bit of both if I’m honest. I’m dead-set on fully embracing Thanksgiving, while also wanting to soak in every single second of Christmas by kicking-off the festivities early. Wherever you land, I’m praying this week holds plenty of sweet family time for each of you, with lots of laughs and memorable moments. I’m also praying we find time to remember the One to whom we owe all of our thanks—knowing that Jesus is truly the giver of every good gift (James 1:17). Today on MESSmerized, we are wrapping up a month of studying worship. To help us do this, I’m thrilled to have the worship leader from my own church, Caleb Willis, on the podcast. Caleb gives us lots of considerations for real and deep worship, and I love that it comes from the perspective of one who leads corporate worship every week. But especially the next few days, remember to worship Jesus by giving thanks for all that he has done in your life . . . . the big, small, hard, unexpected, significant, challenging, and especially the gift of eternal life to all who believe. We are taking December off from our spiritual rhythm podcasts, but we have a GREAT advent series coming out all month on Wednesdays. I would love for you to take time in the midst of the crazy to meet me there the next several weeks. Happy Thanksgiving . . . . I’m so grateful for each of you! All things Cynthia

Episode 11 What's grace got to do with it? A conversation with Pastor Steve Frissell: Hey Y'all! I'm back from vacation and let's just say the Yanof family did not return unscathed. There may or may not have been a fall, a black eye, and a little (lot) of humiliation amidst the fun of family vacation. Nonetheless, I'm so excited... by MESSmerized
