?????????
Today’s podcast sponsor is Boehringer Ingelheim, the maker of Metacam and Previcox, which has recently launched the Arthritis AWARE Campaign to raise awareness of canine OA. Boehringer is on a mission to increase the number of conversations about canine arthritis to make sure more dogs receive the diagnosis they need to ease their suffering.

Two in five young dogs have arthritis, yet many go undiagnosed and are not receiving treatment, suffering in silence.

Boehringer wants to change this and its new Arthritis AWARE campaign makes it easier for veterinary professionals and owners to talk about canine arthritis, by making it easier to spot the early, often subtle signs.

The company’s owner-facing campaign raises awareness of OA through digital and social media marketing channels, and aims to educate owners on the condition, and how it impacts their dog’s life.

It gives them some simple guidance to spot the signs of OA, and best care for their dog if they receive a diagnosis.

All they ask of vets is to support their mission to drive more conversations about canine arthritis and relieve the suffering of the dogs who may be living in pain.

Contact your Boehringer Ingelheim territory manager to get involved.
