Ja'Kobe Walter dropped 28 points in his first college basketball game, leading the Baylor Bears to a victory over the Auburn Tigers in one of the best games of the season so far. Yves Missi also contributed in a big way for Scott Drew's team, while star freshman guard Aden Holloway proved the future is bright for Bruce Pearl and the Tigers in the SEC.
We also discussed Creighton's big win and their Final 4 chances, Michigan blasting UNC-Asheville behind a monster game from Olivier Nkamhoua, Saint John's and their first game under Rick Pitino and chances of competing in the Big East, and a pair of uninspiring wins in the Big Ten between Indiana and Maryland. We close the show with a loss for Vanderbilt to Presbyterian, a team who did not win a game in 2023 until Tuesday, and a loss by DePaul which shows they just aren't cut out for Big East hoops.
