Description

With this being our 2nd year hosting a breast cancer awareness month series talking to amazing women who battled breast cancer, we wanted to take a moment to remember the first few who we hosted on the pod last year in October. In October of 2022 we talked to Nicky, Jackie and Angela. All 3 were like an open book, sharing with us so many details of not just breast cancer, but their life before during and after. We hear about Nicky and the meals program she was a part of and ran for. Jackie shares her story about being an active mom and teacher who had to take a year off to fight. And Angela who wasn't afraid to share anything with us and has had an active ear and friend to talk too for all the women out there going through the same thing as she did. Their stories and lives are amazing and inspirational, they are some of the most courageous women you'll ever meet. We really hope you enjoy these mini best of clips and if you haven's listened to the entire episode. Go give them a listen. We loves stories, it started with #CodeBrown, and as many runners have gone through an actual code brown experience, we truly love all stories around the sport of running. A code brown can be any type of “oh crap” moment, however we love stories of accomplishment, struggle, overcoming physical and mental obstacles and how the sport of running along with any type of physical fitness played a role into that individual’s journey. Join us and listen as we bring on guest to share their stories. Along the way we'll talk about what's relevant in the running community, highlighting key events across the world when they happen and what we're going through with our training and events throughout the year.
