On this episode, homeschool parents, Tembi & Bevis Gray, shares their journey into homeschooling, the Young Musician's University, the importance of connecting as a family, and the benefits of building a musical foundation in your children's life.

The Gray's Bio: Tembi and Bevis Gray have been in the music education business for over twenty years. As the founders of The Young Musicians University, also known as YMU, their overarching mission is to narrow the disparity in access to music education and technology among youth nationwide. YMU is an online music school that provides quality self-paced music courses and live coaching tailored to students ages 4 to 18. The curriculum at YMU seamlessly blends traditional musical values with cutting-edge technology. The Young Musician’s University offers parents and students the invaluable opportunity to partake in top-notch music education with the flexibility of learning around their family's busy routine, all from the comfort of their homes.
Bevis Gray received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Claflin University. In addition to being a music educator and professional musician, he has vast experience in music production, performing with various bands from theater to recording studios.
Tembi Gray's educational journey includes earning her undergraduate degree in Sociology from Claflin University, followed by a master's in Integrated Arts in Education from Lesley University, and a second master's in Entertainment Business from Full Sail University.
The Gray's rich background encompasses extensive experience in education, curriculum development, working with young people, and deep involvement in the arts, all of which contribute significantly to their lifelong mission of delivering high-quality music education. With over two decades of being in the music education field, they are committed to providing each student with a firm musical foundation and an experience that will last them a lifetime.
