Let’s go over the important points of day one of potty training. This first day isn’t about judging success or failure. It’s about learning your child’s pee signal (or pee dance) and their pee pattern. It’s data collection and lots of learning. You have to avoid being emotional about this and give your child space to learn a brand new skill. It can be a tough day for parents and we’ll talk about why and how to help that.
