Description
Explicit warning is because we touch on a few topics that are not small-kid-friendly, in case you're accustomed to listening to this podcast in the car with young kids.
Sheryl R. from the Hearts of Gold podcast is back. Basically we love talking about Girl Scouts all the time and we always have more things we want to talk about together, so... this isn't the last you'll hear from her, either.
This week we got together to talk about our previous troops falling apart after years together (destruction by natural causes, you could say) but we are completely dedicated to staying involved with Girl Scouts and leading troops again. So we thought it could be fun to check in with each other regularly about what it's like to start over when you have experience leading a troop, and you're not feeling around in the dark about what leading a troop might look like. Basically, we get to have vision, experience, and tons of resources under our belts.
But, as you could expect, this conversation kind of went in all kinds of directions. This is literally two Girl Scout sister-friends hanging out on Zoom, having a ball talking about our favorite subjects.
