In this edition of Locked on Capitals Dan talks about the cuts that were made to the roster and how the camp has been divided in two groups. Group A appears to be the group that is going to be on the ice for game one of the regular season for the Capitals. Group B appears to be the group headed for Hershey at some point. A notable name on group A is Matthew Phillips. Matthew who played in the Calgary Wranglers last year had back to back season scoring 30 goals in the NHL and finished number 2 in the AHL in goals scored last season. He has played so well that he's getting a longer look in group A. How does the Caps blue line stack up with the rest of the NHL. Andrew Cristall and Antoine Keller are killing it. They both said they learned a lot with their time on the big team.
