Description

Today we are defining something that a lot of people talk about called “Situational Awareness.” We start off by giving some historical context to the term and we explain the standard definition of what situational awareness is, as well as what it isn’t.  During the episode we talk about how the main elements of situational awareness (which is perception, recognition, and understanding) is missing a key component that will help you conduct predictive analysis. That component is ANTICIPATION. What we bring up during the episode is the idea that by honing your skills in anticipation and perception you are far less likely to be surprised by an unplanned event. Please don’t forget to follow us on social media, you can find the links in the episode details and if you enjoyed the podcast, please tell your friends about it.
