A few days ago, the Buffalo Sabres hosted their Prospects Challenge and the New Jersey Devils participated in it. Second overall pick (2022) Simon Nemec was named an alternate captain by head coach Kevin Dineen. Despite the amount of minutes he played, somebody on social media called Nemec out for his "lackluster" performance. Dawson Mercer's little brother, Riley, also participated in the Prospects Challenge and turned a lot of heads. Finally, Timo Meier made a big change before the start of the season.
