Dawson Mercer set a franchise record for longest consecutive goal streak while Dougie Hamilton tied Scott Stevens for most goals in a single season by a Devils defenseman. It wasn't their cleanest showing, but the Devils were able to sweep the reigning Stanley Cup champions.
