Do you ever feel like the mom you dreamed of being isn't quite the mom you turned out to be? Don't worry; you're in fantastic company! In this episode of Mother Funny Andie and Angie are chatting and laughing about mom guilt. You never know what is going to be discussed since the podcast is authentic and unscripted. One minute Andie and Angie are chatting about the expectation to be the perfect mom, and the next minute they are laughing about toddlers cooking eggs. Angie’s mama bear parenting style can’t quite cope with the idea of toddlers cooking eggs, and Andie can’t stop talking about it. Please, please, please don’t feel guilty if your toddler doesn’t cook their own eggs, because Angie’s toddler definitely doesn’t. Have you thought about the root of your mom guilt? Do influencers on social media, society, family, and/or friends put pressure on you to achieve goals that are unattainable? What does guilt mean to you? Mom guilt can mean so many different things to so many different people. People actually interpret guilt differently, or they might have different feelings and emotions about guilt. Moms have to be everyone to everybody at all times. There are simply not enough hours in the day. It's okay to feel mom guilt sometimes, but it's even better to laugh it off, learn, and grow. In this episode, you’ll discover that you're not alone on the mom guilt rollercoaster ride.
