Description

With the Baltimore Ravens seeming to control time of possession all day Sunday afternoon in Paycor Stadium against the Cincinnati Bengals, it's hard to believe the Bengals only lost by three points, 27-24, against the AFC North rival.
Outside of some magic by rookie wide receiver Charlie Jones when he raced 81 yards on a punt return for his first NFL touchdown, things looked bleak for the home team as the Bengals offense continued their struggles from Week One.
But the Ravens didn't set the world on fire and only held a 13-10 advantage at the half after Evan McPherson and Justin Tucker traded field goals.
The tide looked to be changing for the Bengals as Joe Burrow started to find his groove, getting the Bengals in the RedZone before throwing an interception, killing the drive that Lamar Jackson turned into points, and hitting a deep pass to receiver  Zay Flowers before finding his favorite receiver, tight end Mark Andrews for a touchdown and 20-10 advantage.
Burrow and the Bengals' offense would answer with a drive that included a pass interference against the Ravens, putting the Bengals on the four-yard line. After a short run by Joe Mixon and an incomplete pass to Tyler Boyd, Burrow would find Tee Higgins for the first of two touchdowns on the day, cutting the score to 20-17.
The Ravens answered with a touchdown drive in the fourth quarter, pushing the score to 27-17, and Burrow and company would put together their most impressive drive of the season, going 16 plays for 80 yards, ending in Higgins's second touchdown on the day closing the gap to 27-24 with a little over three minutes left in the game.
Needing a defensive stop, the Bengals could not find a way to stop Jackson, and the Ravens left with a 27-24 victory over the 0-2 Bengals, who will look for their first win of the season in a Monday night match-up against the Los Angeles Rams.
