The Los Angeles Angels 'Angel' the Mariners on Monday night, as a back-and-forth battle into extra innings saw some late-game heroics from Brandon Drury, Nolan Schanuel, Zach Neto, and Randal Grichuk to put the Angels up over the Ms, 8-5! It came after Reid Detmers went pitch for pitch with Seattle's Logan Gilbert, and while the Angels gained and lost the lead to an unreal Julio Rodriguez home run, the Halos gave the Mariners the ol' "Tungsten Arm" O'Doyle treatment to J-Rod while knocking the Mariners out of the Wildcard for the time being.
