Born in June 1896, Leinster was a high school dropout, and his first story was published when he was only 19. Although Leinster's first science fiction story, "The Runaway Skyscraper" is longer than any we’ve narrated so far at nearly 2 hours, it’s on our list of future Leinster stories we will narrate.Our story begins on page 53 of Galaxy Science Fiction Magazine in March 1951.
