Benedikt Franke is Deputy Chairman and CEO of the Munich Security Conference (MSC). Before working at the MSC, he was the representative for strategy issues for the CSU national leadership and before that he was personal advisor to the former Secretary General of the United Nations and Nobel Prize winner Kofi Annan. Benedikt Franke holds a doctorate from the University of Cambridge and a master's degree from the Johns Hopkins University of Advanced International Studies (SAIS). He regularly publishes on foreign and security policy issues and sits on a number of relevant committees such as the Board of Trustees of the International Charlemagne Prize Committee and the International Commission of the CSU. In his (limited) free time he is active as a special ambassador for the Sovereign Order of Malta.
Named as one of the "100 most connected men" by GQ magazine, Andrew Keen is amongst the world's best known broadcasters and commentators. In addition to presenting KEEN ON, he is the host of the long-running How To Fix Democracy show. He is also the author of four prescient books about digital technology: CULT OF THE AMATEUR, DIGITAL VERTIGO, THE INTERNET IS NOT THE ANSWER and HOW TO FIX THE FUTURE. Andrew lives in San Francisco, is married to Cassandra Knight, Google's VP of Litigation & Discovery, and has two grown children.
