Description

Bo and the crew talk about which new college football head coach will have the most success, experience in press boxes and if Spencer Sanders will take the job from Jaxson Dart at Ole Miss in the first hour of the show live in the BankPlus Studio. The guys talk about what it's like covering games in press boxes and being in the environment of everyone taking everything really seriously. Bo and the crew talk about the first time they showed their press pass at a game and the type of free food you get when you hear angry typing at half time. Jason gives Bo a list of possible first year coaches to have the most success and Zach Arnett is not on the list. The guys talk about what a successful season would look like for Hugh Freeze at Auburn and how hard it is for coaches to be successful in their first season in the SEC. College Football insider Tom Luginbill joins the show talking about if Spencer Sanders will take the job from Jaxson Dart in Oxford, the biggest thing to watch in LSU/ Florida State game and if Clemson is still the favorite in the ACC live in the BankPlus Studio. Tom talks about Deion Sanders going to a Colorado team that was one of the worst in the nation last season and what success would look like for that team. Bo and Tom say that re-inventing your entire roster is not the way to win. Tom talks about the Florida vs Utah game and says that the outcome relies on if QB Cam Rising for Utah is healthy . Tom also wonders what the quarterback situation at Florida will look like if things start to go wrong for the Gators. Bo asks Tom is Spencer Sanders will eventually be the starting QB for Ole Miss and Tom talks about that relying on mistakes made by Jaxson Dart. Tom tells the listeners that if Jaxson Dart doesn't show progression in his decision making with taking care of the ball then Lane Kiffin will have no choice. Tom says Will Rogers needs to take another step this season and believes in his experience to give him the ability to adapt to the system. Bo asks Tom about Garret Riley at Clemson and the expectations for a difference style of offense this season. Tom says that the expectations are super high and that the fans should expect to see shades of his brother, Lincoln Riley, from his time at Oklahoma. Tom talks about the possible use of a two back system and breaks down the talent the tigers have at running back. Bo and Tom switch over to the Florida State game vs LSU and believe that the game will look a lot different from last year. Tom says that LSU will look completely different on offense and expects the Tigers to eliminate the kicking errors that hurt them in the first game against the Seminoles last year. Tom thinks the game won't be as sloppy as last year and believes that all of the pressure is now on Florida State. Tom talks about how he isn't surprised that North Carolina is favored over South Carolina and thinks that Drake Maye is a better QB than Spencer Rattler. Tom wants to know which Spencer Rattler we will see vs NC and if he can continue his streak from last season.
