Description

Bo and the crew talk about Sam Pittman's love for Popeyes, the best road trip food, and what "ease of schedule" really means in the third hour of the show live in the BankPlus Studio. The guys talk about Arkansas coach Sam Pittman's ideal day and how he dreams of eating a Popeyes bucket on his pontoon boat. Bo and the crew think about the last time they had Popeyes and how it might not be the best food to eat while driving. This sparks the topic of the best food to eat in the car and the guys look to the text line to see some of the suggestions. Bo talks about eating burritos in the car, how he hasn't eaten Taco Bell in almost two decades and how a Dairy Queen burger is the best on-the-go food. Dave Bartoo of the College Football Matrix joins the show on the Farm Bureau guest line talking about his "ease of schedule" rankings and who is in the better spot with conference realignment live in the BankPlus Studio. Dave breaks down what ease of schedule means and the inaccuracy of comparing strength of schedule numbers. Dave talks about comparing how good a team is to who they play and talks about this measurement being a more accurate and valuable tool in analytics. Dave goes into talking about the ACC as a conference that has underproduced when hiring assistant coaches and believes the Big 12 has the best staffing compared to the Pac 12 and ACC. Bo and Dave start talking about Utah in a new conference and Dave breaks down that Utah will have a higher ease of schedule rating for years to come compared to schools that went to the Big 10 like Washington and Oregon. Dave talks about the ease of schedule Bob Stoops had at Oklahoma and says that Oklahoma was always in the top 5 for the category during his time as head coach. Bo asks Dave the repercussion's of Oklahoma going 6 and 6 this season and Dave says that Oklahoma ranks #1 in the ease of schedule rankings. Dave talks about the significant gap in ease of schedule between the SEC East and West and comparisons flare between Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, etc. Dave talks about the bottom of the west as far superior to the bottom of the east and he says that Ole Miss and Mississippi State would be the favorites to win the Big 12 this season. Dave breaks down the ease of schedule of both Mississippi State and Ole Miss and talks about the difference in percentages between the two schools. Bo asks Dave about the numbers that surrounded Mike Leach's time at Mississippi State and Dave mention Coach leach as a walking upset.
