Description

In the last proper episode of 2020, the We Are West Ham boys are faced with the reality that maybe, just maybe, it's time to finally call time on Mark Noble's place in the starting XI.

Of course, he's been a wonderful servant for the club, making over 520 first-team appearances and becoming a legend in the making, but his inclusion in the team to face Chelsea this week baffled most fans and while he didn't particularly play badly, some believe he didn't exactly benefit David Moyes' side either.

Tom Edwards believes Moyes' decision to play Noble was a strange one while Will Pugh is understanding of the reasons behind selecting the skipper over Said Benrahma. James Jones, on the other hand, sees both sides as he desperately tries (and fails) to sit firmly on his Noble shaped fence.

Also on this week's show, the lads react to the draw v. Crystal Palace and the defeat at Chelsea, they discuss the Hammers' latest signing, mull over the Brighton game on the 27th and look back on the season so far for the West Ham Women team.

There's also an absolute spanking dished out in Name That Game as James takes the quizmaster hot seat this week!

As always, it's an action-packed show as the lads bring 2020 to a much needed close with yet another brilliant episode. Oh and we've even included a lovely blooper at the beginning for you, courtesy of Will Pugh!

While this is the last proper episode of 2020, keep an eye out next week for our 2020 Review episode, where the lads take a look back at West Ham's calendar year, starting with David Moyes' first game back in charge, and finishing just before the Chelsea defeat.

James, Will and Tom are taking a well earned week off from recording, but the 2020 Year Review will still be out next week to ensure you can get your We Are West Ham fix before we finally wave goodbye to a woeful 2020 and welcome in a hopefully much more promising 2021.
