Description
It was a week of two very different performances against two of the best teams in world football and we only came out of it three goals worse off.
The 2-0 defeat to Man City involved a very defensive approach while the 3-2 loss at Anfield came via the sort of attacking, positive and meaningful performance we've been craving from the team all season. In truth, we deserved to take something from Anfield but an uncharacteristic performance from Lukasz Fabianski ensured we left empty-handed.
Perhaps the highlight of our season will be the 14 minutes in which we were winning away at Liverpool.
And that's the main focus of this week's show as, in Will Pugh's absence, James Jones and Charlie Hawkins review the last two defeats and then look ahead to this weekend's massive six-pointer against Southampton at London Stratford.
The boys also discuss recent fan protests, the ineffective use of Sebastien Haller and the impressive introduction to first-team football for Jeremy Ngaki.
And finally, Will does join us on the phone for the Mystery Rogue Players Quiz where he looked to go level with James again!
