What instructions did God give Joshua?He told Joshua to gather his soldiers and march around the city of Jericho for six days. Seven priests were in front – their job was to blow the horns. On the seventh day, they were to march around the city seven times, blowing horns and giving a great shout.

Did that seem strange?That must have sounded strange that a big wall would fall just because of some horns, shouts, and marching. But it happened because of God’s power!

What should you do when God gives you instructions?Listen and obey like Joshua and the Israelites obeyed. It’s always the right choice to obey God.

Take some time to pray with your child. You might pray something like this:Dear God, thank you that you always know what’s best for me. Please help me to listen to you and obey so that I can follow your best plan. I love you! Amen.
