Description
Festival season is here, and we're totally psyched for it!! Just back from Newport Folk Festival, Roadcase ventures into the depths at Pitchfork Music Festival for this special live interview episode -- the first of the summer -- and it's a hot one. In this episode, Josh sits down with three super-talented artists, each bringing a unique vibe to Union Park for this year's hippest indie Fest. Up first is Sen Morimoto, a Chicago-based performer, songwriter, producer and now co-owner of the new indie label Sooper Records. Outside of the box performer Axel Boman, who hails from Stockholm, Sweden, joins us "fresh off the boat" to tell us about his compelling brand of house and experimental music and regales us with tales of growing up in the hot Rave culture in Scandinavia. Then Ariel Zetina joins Josh to talk about the DJ scene in Chicago and how she has helped shape and support the Queer community in the Windy City. All amazing artists in their own way and we're here for it!! We're kicking off this year's Festival coverage here at Roadcase in style!! And make sure to stay tuned for more stellar artists from Newport Folk and Lollapalooza coming up NEXT!!For more on Pitchfork Music Festival:https://pitchforkmusicfestival.com/To learn more about Sen Morimoto:https://senmorimoto.com/Click for more info on Axel Boman:https://soundcloud.com/axelbomanTo learn more about Ariel Zetina:https://soundcloud.com/arielzetinaFor more information on Roadcase: https://linktr.ee/roadcasepod and https://www.roadcasepod.comContact: info@roadcasepod.comRoadcase theme music: "Eugene (Instrumental)" by Waltzer
