Description

Today we are joined by special guest Scott Kirshner who has decades of experience in the criminal justice field with experiences ranging from Parole administrator to correction officer. Scott is an accomplished trainer with extensive experience in officer safety and violence mitigation strategies, he’s the CEO of Dedicated Threat Solutions and we brought him on the show to talk about a statement that he has heard a lot throughout his career as a trainer where someone will say “but I’m not a cop.” During the episode Scott gives his take on why that’s a terrible statement to make and the effect it can have on your mindset and he also walks us through his “steps to victimization” which is an extremely helpful tool in understanding HOW we can become victims.  Please don’t forget to follow us on social media, you can find the links in the episode details and if you enjoyed the podcast, please tell your friends about it.
