Description

This week, my guest curator is Scott Klopfenstein, multi instrumentalist and singer for The Littlest Man Band, as well as his tenure with Reel Big Fish & The Scholars, and we’re crafting the ultimate playlist of ska punk anthems, from all decades & eras!
We also talk about his work on the Lo(u)ser track “No Hope” (which was featured in Clerks 3), The Littlest Man Band’s latest singles “Just Like You” and “Sidle Up,” and their 2022 remaster / re-release of their 2004 album “Better Book Ends.”
Also, on a more important note, after this episode was recorded, news came out that Scott is battling chronic Lyme Disease, and can use all of the support he can get. Please visit this GoFundMe page to learn more.

My Weekly Mixtape is a podcast that brings each listener back to when you waited for hours to record your favorite song off the radio, "dubbed" songs from one cassette to another & recorded your vinyl or CDs in your own epic sequence. When you handed someone a mixtape, you were handing them your musical identity. Featuring both collaborative curations as well as interviews with the music makers themselves, My Weekly Mixtape celebrates the lost art of the mixtape, one week at a time.
