We look at the possibility that any of Mikko Rantanen, Leon Draisaitl and Mitch Marner even reach free agency, with more of a likelihood that Marner and Draisaitl do given the current state of their teams and their many playoff failings. We look at the pros and cons for each player as well as their regular season and postseason stats. We finish by trying to note differences between this and the moment in Wild history that Parise and Suter were originally signed.
