It's day 2 of us broadcasting live from the Midland Country Club as the Dow Great Lakes Bay Invitational two-person event takes place this week starting Wednesday. Throughout the show, we were joined by some of the great people from the Dow team to hear about this week's event, what they have to offer, and more. We started the show talking to Whit Watson from the Golf Channel about this week's Dow GLBI and The Open. He gave his thoughts on some of the pairings that he likes in the Dow GLBI, talked about who he thinks will win, and also gave us his prediction of who will win The Open on Sunday. We were then joined by Champions Tour Golfer and Dow Ambassador, Corey Pavin. Corey and Huge talked about what the Dow GLBI means to the Midland area, he told us about his connection with Dow, discussed his Golfing career, and much more. We were then joined by Carlos Padilla who is the Executive Director for the Dow GLBI. He and Huge talked about some of the great things that are happening and being offered at the Midland Country Club this week. We wrapped up the hour with Todd Beals who is the GM at the Midland Country Club. He and Huge talked about all of the volunteer work that goes into making this event happen, discussed the great impact it has on the Great Lakes Bay Region, and more. Throughout our second hour, we were joined by Grant Boone from the Golf Channel to preview the Dow GLBI as well as The Open Championship. He and Huge talked about some of the pairings that they like in the Dow GLBI this week, and also gave their thoughts on which teams could come out on top. They also previewed The Open Championship as they talked about some of the Golfers they like playing this week and they gave their predictions on who could win on Sunday. We wrapped up the hour with Wendy Traschen who is the Dow GLBI Tournament Director. She filled us in on the process of getting the Dow GLBI off the ground, what goes into it, and much more. We kicked off the final hour of the show talking with LPGA Golfer and Dow Ambassador, Maria Fassi. She told us why she likes playing in the Dow GLBI, talked about some of the other Tournament's she's played in, and much more. We were then joined by PGA Rules Official Mark Wilson to talk about the great Golf events that we have to pick from in the State of Michigan. Mark and Huge also looked ahead to The Open Championship, and much more. We wrapped up the broadcast with Dow Ambassador and LPGA Golfer, Suzann Pettersen.
