Today, we're broadcasting live from the Midland Country Club as the Dow Great Lakes Bay Invitational two-person event takes place this week starting Wednesday. Throughout the show, we were joined by some of the great people from the Dow team to hear about this week's event, what they have to offer, and more. We kicked off the show with PGA Rules Official Mark Wilson to talk about the great Golf events that we have to pick from in the State of Michigan. Mark and Huge also looked ahead to The Open Championship, and much more. We wrapped up the first hour with LPGA Golfer and Dow Ambassador, Maria Fassi. She told us why she likes playing in the Dow GLBI, talked about some of the other Tournament's she's played in, and much more. In our second hour we were joined by Jim Fitterling, who is the CEO for Dow, so he and Huge could talk about this week's Dow GLBI. Jim filled us in on some of the great things you'll find at the Dow GLBI this week, talked about some of the events happening around Midland this week that aren't necessarily Golf related, talked about Dow's connection to other sports, and so much more. We were then joined by Rex Hoggard from the Golf Channel to talk more about The Open Championship. Rex gave us his thoughts on how the tournament will go, who could come out on top, talked about the LIV Tour, and more. We wrapped up the second hour talking to Champions Tour Golfer and Dow Ambassador, Corey Pavin. Corey and Huge talked about what the Dow GLBI means to the Midland area, he told us about his connection with Dow, discussed his Golfing career, and much more. In our final hour, we were joined by Brad Tunney who works for our affiliate 100.9 ESPN in Midland, and is also one of the voices of the Great Lakes Loons, which is the High-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers. Huge and Brad talked about the Great Lakes Loons, the possibility of Shohei Ohtani playing for the Dodgers, discussed other Baseball stories and teams, and much more. We then had a special edition of our "True & Blue" interview as Huge spoke with Jillian Crane who is the President and CEO of the First Responders Children’s Foundation. She talked about what the foundation does, challenges that children of first responders face every day, and much more. We wrapped up the broadcast talking with Mike Rodewald who is an owner of many McDonald's around Michigan.
