This week on The Whiskey Trip Podcast, Big Chief travels North across Texas to Five Points Distilling to sip on some Lone Elm Whiskey, an unapologetically Texas Wheat Whiskey, that he discusses with Owner Bill Wofford, Marketing Director Brandon Choate, and Bar/Tour Manager Ashlyn.  They chat about wheat whiskey, craft distillery marketing, and The Texas Whiskey Trail. In the first half Big Chief and the Lone Elm crew sip on Lone Elm’s Small Batch Straight Wheat Whiskey and then move to the more robust single barrel wheat whiskey. In the second half they fill the big man’s glass with a honey cask finished wheat whisky, their rye (which has a secondary grain of wheat), and then they finish the show with a cognac finished wheat whiskey.
