It’s not uncommon for parents and schools to disagree when it comes time to craft and IEP for a special needs student.  What a parent decides to do when there is a disagreement can be an difficult and emotional journey. Special education attorney Devon Rios Barellano shares important  advice for parents in these situations.  Barellano will be speaking at a workshop entitled “What parents need to know about negotiating” which will be done in conjunction with the Autism Society of GLB/SGV/OC.
