Description

Husband and Wife go back in time to cover Psalms 78[[Support our Campaign to raise funds for our live broadcast equipment]] https://giveb.co/s/YOmP73Psalm 78: God's Faithfulness to His Unfaithful People / A new beginning in Zion and David. Starts, "Give ear, O my people, to my law." Psalm 78 is the first of the three great history psalms (the others being Psalms 105 and 106)It is the second-longest Psalm, with 72 verses, and that's why we didn't get to the other two psalms we meant to read. It's basically a rehash of Exodus, but only the good parts. Just kidding — there weren't any good parts. We did learn that God got drunk and fell asleep, which explains why he disappears for great stretches. Husband and Wife are two non-believers who have always wanted to read the Bible. Why would we subject ourselves to this you might ask? From our perspective it helps us understand where the Christians around us, here in the Midwest, are coming from when they quote the Bible at us. Husband is basically an Atheist and wife leans Agnostic but mostly Atheist and we're just having some fun at the Bible's expense while learning more about what our neighbors claim we're going to hell over.
