Starts, "Hear my voice, O God, in my prayer." This psalm is a prayer for deliverance from enemies; or a thanksgiving; or a testimony to divine judgement. It's super short yet filled with that yummy taste of paranoia we've all come to love. Psalm 65 begins a group of four psalms that are hymns of thanksgiving. SO WE SKIPPED AHEAD TO PSALM 69.Psalm 69: A Cry of Distress. Starts, "Save me, O God; for the waters are come in unto my soul." This one is super long and *Wife goes a bit over the top adopting a Southern accent. She may or may not mention truck nuts and gun racks. *Apologies to our friends in the South who might find Wife's sweeping generalization offensive. Sometimes going "off the cuff" allows us to indulge in lazy or ignorant discourse.
