The Port of Everett, Washington, a leading West Coast port on Puget Sound with the left coast's second largest marina, has reconnected to its downtown by opening up its waterfront to development, adding hotels, restaurants and new housing and a  public promenade - all while successfully advancing its port terminal activities and addressing the likely impacts of climate change.
