What a song ... 
H.i.M. does not re-invent the wheel here, but what they do they do really well. 
They make simple songs sound epic, and I don't mean "simple" as disrespectful. 
Simple is good, complicated is for "show offs" ... ;) if you know what you can do, you do not have to put a 5 minute solo in each song you play, real masters know when it is appropriate to shine and then it is better to step back and let the song "breathe" and not smothering it with too much ballast ...  
This is my point of view and philosophy anyway.
