​ @MaxRaabeVEVO  and his Palast Orchester are a very unique brand of music. 
Mr. Raabe developed a great love for the music of the 1920's & 30's and started his own spin on it, revisiting the singing and performance styles of the time and spicing it up with ironic / funny lyrics not unequal to his idols of the Comedian Harmonists.  
This is no Darkwave or Gothic Rock of course, but it has this kind of old school melancholic sound and it is just very well put together music, so I'm very sure you will appreciate my recommendation.  
It is just a joy, even for non German speakers.
