Description

People ask me how I can end each show by saying "I love you!" when I don't even know you. I also get asked how is it possible to love everyone when some people are unlovable. The answer to both questions is rooted in the same foundational belief. Listen as I explain more:

Show Outline:

"Though we're strangers, still I love you. I love you more than your mask. And I know you'll have to trust this to be true. And I know that's much to ask." - Rich Mullins
I've wanted to do this show for a long time, then I got a message from Melissa in Italy. "How can he say 'I love you'? He doesn't know me or most of his audience?" Italians say "ti voglio bene!" which means "I want the good for you!"
How can I say "I love you"?
I get asked, but how can you love everyone? Not everyone is loveable. Some people are detestable, evil. How do you love the unlovable?
There is no such thing as an unloveable person because you are the one making that choice.
The mother of a mass murder still loves her child. She may hate what he/she did.
Not everyone is lovely, but everyone is loveable!
Lovely vs Lovable
The Divine, God, is in all of us all of the time. It is the very substance we are made of.
At the core of everything is energy. That energy is God. That energy is love.
What you believe about yourself (creation, purpose, plan) you must also believe about ALL people. Did God uniquely create you with and for a purpose and not someone else? Did God make a mistake on that one?
The Divine in me honors the Divine in you.
Namaste literally means "I bow to you". I like 'Namaste' as defined by Mahatma Gandhi: "I honor the place within you where the entire Universe resides; I honor the place within you of love, of light, of truth, of peace; I honor the place within you, where, when you are in that place in you, and I am in that place in me, there is only one of us."
